Off My Chest-

Plus sign on my head,
Tap it once, tap it twice-
Those who know me, know that I'm generally an optimistically positive person;
I feel that life's too short to spoil ourselves and those around us with negativity and pessimism.
That being said...
sometimes....
I just need to get things off my chest-

You know when you have someone that you absolutely love (platonically in this case),
But they often stir you up and rub you... the wrong way?
That's what I'm dealing with right now.
I'll try to keep this vague, although I'm not sure how successful that will be...

So, although my door is always open and you're welcome here any time,
I would still appreciate if you asked to stay for prolonged periods of time rather than showing up and announcing it once already here.
We love to have you over,
BUT,
I really don't appreciate it when you break something of ours each and every time you visit...
and don't own up about it!

If I asked you not to touch it,
please don't!
If I told you to leave it alone,
please listen!
3rd time's a charm, I don't have much else that can be broken here,
It's a small place!

Lastly, if and when I'm trying to sleep,
Please don't:
pinch me,
poke me,
clap in my ear,
yell something loud,
OR
barge into my room and squeal in a high-pitched tone.

You know,
I feel much better already.
That's all I needed to say because in all truth, I do love this person like a sister;
I just get frustrated sometimes,
I try my best to hide it, and I know I don't always do a good job.
I'm sorry for that,
but please,
pay some attention to the above.

Although I'm optimistically positive,
I do get agitated pretty easily.

Everything off my chest, time to blare some grooves & get on with it

I tried to have this talk with a good friend of mine...
She was cursing her luck with Love and the seemingly never-ending presence of unkind and ingenuine people in her life.
She blames herself and views these experiences as time lost-
Time wasted.

"Something's wrong with me" she says,
"I'll never find that one person who will make me happy"...

It's true that Life takes us for bumpy rides from time to time,
But...
They are opportunities to learn, to grow, to discover who you are, what you want and the best ways for you to go about getting it.

It's not time wasted,
There's nothing wrong with you,
You are not a hopeless cause and there is someone out there who will make you feel loved and complete.
Learn from what you Live-
Apply it;
Improve your surroundings, yourself and the people you choose to Lust for-

Until the day we die, we will continue to learn a bit more about ourselves each day,
What it is that we want to get out of the time we have in this World.
Don't give up, but rather become aware...
If the same thing is happening again and again, Life is trying to tell you something.
